2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV | Bozeman, MT

As part of its rollout of next-gen electric vehicles, Chevrolet has announced an EV version of the Chevrolet Equinox SUV. As Chevrolet’s top-selling SUV, this represents a particularly exciting step forward in the development of its electric fleet.

The Equinox EV will be available in fleet and retail versions, including LT and RS trims. Like Chevrolet’s other new EVs, it will be built on the brand’s Ultium battery platform. According to Steve Hill, Chevrolet’s vice president, “The Equinox has always played an important role for Chevrolet as the second-highest selling brand nameplate. Providing an affordable EV option in the industry’s highest volume segment proves Chevy is going to make EVs available to everyone.”

When the Equinox EV arrives, it will join the upcoming Blazer EV (arriving spring 2023) and the Silverado EV. Both are popular vehicles in their conventional forms, and the latter is already reporting impressive range, acceleration, and torque capabilities.

To support these new vehicles’ development, Chevrolet is using their flexible Ultium platform as well as their Ultifi software platform, which will enable vehicles to more easily keep their software up to date, as well as provide easy access to upgrades, personalization, and apps.

The Equinox EV will be available in fall 2023, so keep an eye out for more updates from our team at Ressler Chevrolet about this electrifying new vehicle.
